Gayman 有料盒子 & School Association (GHSA) is open to every parent/guardian at Gayman and is a fantastic way to get to know not only the school but other parents as well. The GHSA relies on volunteers to help it run successfully. We help raise funds for social events, assemblies, library needs, student needs, school needs, teacher appreciation, and so much more.
The GHSA could not exist without parent volunteers. Below are some of the events we plan to host and we need your help! Consider volunteering to be part of the event planning committee.
For each event to be a success, the following process should be followed by the Chairperson/Committee:

: Popsicles on the playground is the first family fun night of the new school year. It is a chance for students and parents to enjoy a popsicle and spend time connecting with our wonderful Gayman families.

: The book fair is held in the fall and in the spring. The book fair is an opportunity for children to purchase books from Scholastic from an on premise store.

: The fall festival is a family event with fall activities, games, food, and fun.

: Kids care club is an after school community service club. This club provides kids with information about a “need” in our community and work to develop direct projects which will have a positive impact on the community.

: Bingo is a family fun event and is hosted in the winter. Bingo is a time to have some good old fashion fun with your family and other Gayman families. And there are prizes for BINGO!

: The Gayman Dance is for Gayman students and their special guest (adult). The dance is a magical night of fun and dancing for Gayman students and their special guest (adult).

: The color run is a fun run held in the spring on the Gayman playground area. It is a family fun event with running, music, color, food, and fun. During the run there are powder color stations where each runner will be sprayed with a powder color.

: 6th Grade Club is open to all sixth grade students. The club is a way for the students to really come together in their last year at Gayman.
The Chairperson and the committee will organize the events, create communications, collect liability forms, collect sign ups, collect funds, set up, supervise during event, and clean up from event.
**Must have clearances to be part of the committee**
: 6th Grade Promotion is a night where all sixth graders are recognized for their hard work during elementary school. The day after promotion there are some fun activities plan to celebrate.

: Gayman Loves the Earth organizes events to create awareness of environmental issues, such as protection, conservation, preservation, and restoration.

: The end of the year picnic is the final family fun event of the school year. The picnic is for all Gayman students and their families.

: All kids love a yearbook of memories made during the school year!
The Chairperson and the committee will develop ideas for the yearbook; take, collect, and organize photographs to be submitted to the publisher. As well as create all communications in regards to the yearbook.
: Teacher & Staff appreciation week is a week to celebrate all that our teachers and staff do for our children every day. The week ends with a teacher luncheon.

: Teacher & Staff luncheons are hosted three times a year. The first one is to welcome back all the teachers and staff and the others are held during conferences (Fall & Spring).
