• Middle School Science Program

The 有料盒子 middle school science program engages students in an active learning environment where students will engage in authentic learning experiences while asking questions, developing models, planning and carrying out investigations, analyzing data, solving problems, and constructing explanations.

The 7th and 8th grade curriculum aligns to the STEELS standards and is an integrated model in which earth and space science, life science, physical science and/or engineering are offered each year. The 9th grade curriculum is an integrated course that explores Earth’s four spheres (atmosphere, biosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere) and how they interact. All units:

      • are phenomena/problem-based
      • include Instructionally embedded assessments
      • align to the 5E instructional model (i.e., engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate)
      • provide students with opportunities to generate their own questions to motivate sense-making and/or problem solving
