    Central Bucks is committed to providing information to parents and students about the progress they make in various areas of learning.  Library is a place where lots of learning occurs.  Please find the library standards listed below by grade level:

    Grade 1

    ·   Use best behavior.

    ·   Do their best work.

    ·   Use their library skills to locate materials.

    ·   Know the differences between fiction and nonfiction.

    ·   Gather information to answer a simple research question.

     

    Grade 2

    ·   Use best behavior.

    ·   Do your best work.

    ·   Use library skills to select their own materials.

    ·   Use the online library catalog to locate materials.

    ·   Gather information to answer research questions.

     

    Grade 3

    ·   Use best behavior.

    ·   Do your best work.

    ·   Locate information from more than one resource to answer their questions.

    ·   Record information from more than one resource to answer their questions.

    ·   Create a simple bibliography for print/online resources.

     

    Grade 4

    ·   Demonstrate cooperative behavior and effort.

    ·   Follow the CB Research Model to locate appropriate materials.

    ·   Use note-taking skills to organize new learning.

    ·   Create a multimedia presentation.

    ·   Create a bibliography for print/online resources. 
     
     

    Grade 5

    ·   Demonstrate cooperative behavior and effort.

    ·   Follow the CB Research Model to identify, access, and use appropriate resources.

    ·   Paraphrase information by using note-taking skills to organize new learning.

    ·   Effectively use technology to communicate information and ideas.
