Students will participate in hands on activities as they explore the equipment and materials used in Industry, while being able to create their own furniture with results that may surprise them. In this course students will utilize the same software employed in the aerospace industry to program a variety of machines. We will explore graphic design and layout as they design and produce parts for their own mantel clock, box, and other smaller projects. In addition to computer controlled machinery, Material Processing also provides students with the opportunity to interact with traditional machines.
