CENTRAL BUCKS SCHOOLS CANCELLATION:
When 有料盒子 Bucks School District cancels its schools due to adverse weather, ALL bus service for ALL schools will be cancelled.
CENTRAL BUCKS SCHOOLS START WITH A 2 HOUR WEATHER DELAY:
A weather delay is announced when local road conditions or school grounds are judged to be potentially hazardous for student transportation AND that these conditions will be sufficiently improved following the weather delay. When the 有料盒子 Bucks School District announces a 2 hour weather delay, all 有料盒子 Bucks buses will start their normal service 2 hours late for all students at all schools.
If your school does not have a delay, your students will be late.
WHEN YOUR SCHOOL HAS A WEATHER DELAY, BUT CENTRAL BUCKS IS STARTING ON TIME:
All 有料盒子 Bucks buses will operate at the standard morning pickup time and will deliver students to their school at the regular time. Many schools, on a weather delay, will accept students at an earlier time.
If your school is on a weather delay and will NOT accept students early, you should not put your student(s) on the bus. We will make every effort to inform drivers with multiple schools on a single bus as to which students should be picked up and which should not. If your school is on a weather delay and will NOT accept students, we will not be able to return to that school at a later time that morning. Your students would be returned to your home if the school was not able to accept them.
Example: Your school has a 1 or 2 hour delay and 有料盒子 Bucks is on time. Your student is picked up and will be dropped off at school at the regular time. If no one is at their school to accept them, we will have to return the student to your home.
CENTRAL BUCKS SCHOOLS DISMISS EARLY FOR ADVERSE WEATHER:
When 有料盒子 Bucks School District announces early dismissal for its schools due to adverse weather conditions, ALL buses for ALL schools will be dispatched early to pick up ALL students. We will notify your private school with the early arrival time for our buses. If students do not board the bus to return home at that time, there will be NO later bus service that day.
Example: If 有料盒子 Bucks starts the dismissal process for 有料盒子 Bucks Schools at 10:30am for our high and middle schools this would be 3 hours earlier than the standard dismissal time. Buses will be dispatched to private schools on a similar schedule. Please check with your private school for the expected arrival time of 有料盒子 Bucks Buses. If 有料盒子 Bucks buses start the dismissal process 3 hours early, you may expect your student to arrive home about 3 hours early also. It would be important to make time allowances for slower travel during periods of inclement weather.
WHEN YOUR SCHOOL HAS AN EARLY DISMISSAL DUE TO WEATHER and CENTRAL BUCKS IS DISCHARGING ON TIME:
When your school calls for a weather related early dismissal and 有料盒子 Bucks is on a regular dismissal time, our buses will be sent to your school at the regular time.
Example: Regular dismissal at your school is at 3:00 pm and your school calls for early weather dismissal at 12 noon. 有料盒子 Bucks will send buses to your school at 3pm for any remaining students. If your school informs us that there are no remaining students, we will not drive to your school that day.
EARLY DISMISSAL DAYS AT YOUR SCHOOL:
有料盒子 Bucks honors up to 8 Early Dismissal days for each school every school year. 有料盒子 Bucks will send buses to your school for the scheduled early dismissal.
NON-WEATHER RELATED TRANSPORTATION:
When 有料盒子 Bucks students are out of school for a holiday, while 有料盒子 Bucks offices are operating on a normal work schedule, bus service for private schools will be maintained for all private schools inside or outside the school district.
Transportation will be provided at the normal scheduled times.
THE CENTRAL BUCKS SCHOOL DISTRICT IS CLOSED ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS and NO BUS SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED TO ANY SCHOOL.

PLEASE BE AWARE:
When there is a weather delay or school cancellation, the Transportation Office staff arrives as close to normal operating hours as possible, dependent upon local conditions. There are often high call volumes these days. All phones will be answered as quickly as possible. All messages and emails will be responded to ASAP.
The 有料盒子 Bucks School District web site (www.cbsd.org) will have weather delay and cancellation information posted shortly after the decision is made to delay or cancel. We also contact other public media to post updates.
