Every year on November 11th, those who have served to protect and defend our country are honored and acclaimed in a schoolwide assembly. Their accomplishments are publicly acknowledged, and each are presented with a certificate that attempts to express our gratitude for their service. The hymns of all branches of the military are sung by our Select Choir to celebrate each branch and honor the sacrifices of those who have served. A keynote speaker gives a speech to the entirety of the student body to drive home the importance of the men and women who put their lives on the line to safeguard our society and ideals. These commemoratory ceremony is held to convince others of the significance of their service to our county. They are held to applaud their efforts and service. They are held to express our Eternal Gratitude.
